To add body and movement, after applying Maxxify Volumizing Foam Styler, place three self-grip or hot rollers in a triangle formation (one on each side and one in the back) on the top of your head to create lift at the roots. To help hair retain shape and volume, blow-dry on a low setting. Make sure hair is completely cool and dry before removing them. You can also give flat roots a boost by first lifting them up with your fingers and then holding them into this new height with duckbill clips. Blow-dry on a low setting. Again, make sure hair is completely cool and dry before removing them.
You can also give flat roots a boost by first lifting them up with your fingers and then holding them into this new height with duckbill clips. Then, blowdry on a low setting, focusing on the roots to encourage them to dry up and away from the scalp. Again, make sure hair is completely cool and dry before removing the clips.
Use a technique called back-combing to give you an extra boost at the crown. Lift a section of the hair and comb backwards, building support at the root.
